Grand Treasure Hunt
The kickoff event for the season is always our Treasure Hunt which takes place in the village of Ayala Alabang. This years the event will be on Saturday 12th of September, just after many people have returned from their summer breaks, so a great chance to catch up.

The evening centers round a car based hunt around the village and then concludes with food (Mongolian BBQ) and drinks well into the wee sma' hours!

St Andrew's Ball

The main piece of our events calendar is the St Andrew's Ball in celebration of Scotland's patron saint. This year, and for the 58th year running, we will be back at the Polo Club, Makati on Saturday 21st of November.

A traditional night of haggis, whisky and dancing interspersed with the Address to the Haggis, renditions from visiting musicians, the Chieftains Invitational Dance and an exhibition by kids from the British School. A 'Must attend' event!

Burns Supper

In celebration of the 251st birthdate of Robert Burns, Scotland's finest literary talent, features an Address to his Immortal Memory followed by toast and replies to the Lassies and Guests.

Less formal than the Ball but a great social event all round, nonetheless. Whilst you don't have to be a haggis chomping, whisky guzzling, traditional dancing, Burns buff, it certainly helps!!!

The Casual Ceilidh

Other planned activities

Golf Tournament
It is the intension of the current committee to instigate an annual Golf Tournament in May of each year. This may well be in association with one or other of the other National Associations or Organizations.

Whisky Tasting
Another new departure for the Society will be a planned Whisky Tasting Evening involving some of the principal suppliers of the 'Uisge Beatha' (Water of Life) as Whisky is affectionately known. We'll keep you posted on this new event.

Charity Work
Annually, we collect charitable donations from organizations and individuals which we, in turn, pass on to certain projects with which we have an association. Most recently, we made a donation to the repair and upkeep of the St Andrew's School in Pampanga.
